Made in Occupied Japan.  Excellent condition. 
This collection contains a full variety of Large Eyed Needles, combined with an assortment of darning, 
wool, carpet and button needles. Originally contained 19 needles.  Some needles show some rust.

According to a collector, "There are more than 20 different kinds of Army & Navy Needle Books. 
Each kind has different variations. For example the classical "Iowa" single ship was exported from 
Germany, Czechoslovakia, Japan, and was sometimes just marked "Foreign". These needle books were never sent to soldiers. They were marketed to the home crowd never during a war but afterwards. 
They were usually produced by our former enemies.
